Formwell Products Pte. Ltd. was established in Singapore in 1983 . We started our humble existence by distributing the Wilsonart brand of high pressure laminate in Singapore , Malaysia , Thailand and Indonesia . 4 years later in 1987 we set up our own full line HPL postforming facility in Singapore . We were the pioneer in the manufacturing and marketing of postformed components.
In 1988 , Formwell Products Sdn. Bhd was formed in Malaysia . Formwell Products ( Thailand ) Co., Ltd. was established in 1997. This was followed by the launch of our Indonesia office in 1999.
Since 1999, all the four companies have been supplying and distributing of high quality decorative surface materials and furniture fitting components to the furniture industry in the region.
The Facility
In Singapore , we own an 18,000 sq. m. factory building which was completed in 1997 . It consists of an office, a showroom, a factory and
a warehouse which we are currently occupying. We also own and occupy a 4500 sq. m. (built-up area) factory building located at Sri Damasara, Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . In Thailand , we bought an office/factory building located in the outskirt s of Bangkok with a built-up area of 3500m2. Currently , we have a showroom cum warehouse in Jakarta , Indonesia . The present group employee strength stands at more than 200 people.
The Products
We distribute decorative surface materials by the brands Wilsonart (high pressure laminate), Dekodur (Metallic laminate) and Hanex (solid surface material).
The range of furniture fittings that we represent are SALICE hinge, ADAR drawer system, TERNO sliding system, PAMAR & COSMA handles and knobs, HETAL kitchen and wardrobe accessories, AICO, AMBOS and DIDHEYA stainless steel handles.
In the year 2000, we developed our own in-house aluminum profile to meet changing market trends . This lead to the creation of:
——“FRONTALI” an aluminum frame for cabinet doors
——“Column Plus” an aluminum display and wardrobe system
——“FRONTECH” a furniture door system.
Besides trading and manufacturing, our company ‘s strengths also include involvement in R&D, product engineering, the provision of solutions on products application and collaboration with our industry customers. Over the past years, we have supplied many of our products to numerous up-market housing, commercial and institutional projects.
